Old Seascape-1 by deviantmike423 Old Seascape-1 by deviantmike423
This is so old I'm not even going to crop it.
This is the 2nd time to attempt a breaking wave in oil paint.
Note the archaic sign date in the lower left.....good times.
:lmao:

And even before that, too. I still remember when Gronkt and his brother Grunkt drug in that mammoth, and tossed it on the barby and fed our whole clan for about a month before the tigers snuck into our cave and ate us alive as we slept. Yep, the good old days.

Including me, and I was mourning the late '60s and early '70s just about then...could not get into the 1980s at all (except for Mike's Seascape, that is)!

C'm on Katie!
SHOULDER PADS!!
And ridiculous tights..oh and ridiculous hair styles..
Actually anything happened then was damn awesome! The worst years of fashion..VERY funny people around. People looked damn super-ridiculous and confident then;D
80s music is a whole another subject too.
Just rules!!

Oh, I forgot about shoulder pads...:O
But the rest of what you describe could have been the 60s...although there weren't exactly hair styles as such then...just grow it forever and add a headband.

60s were the times when women were females;D
Neatness ruled then. It was like every single woman was pretty.
80s is exactly the opposite, all those stupid shoulder pads and sloppy outfit had its own awesomeness. It was kinda like the wasted years of fashion and taste. So I think this make it rule in an ironic way.
It was like a riot. Like everyone living then said "what the hell!".

Neatness? Which 60s was that?? Are you forgetting 'dirty' hippies?? The trouble is I had moved to a small rural town in the 80s and stopped being aware of anything like fashion except barn fashion...I remember lots of very 'cool' hair.

The disco ball? I would say that is noteworthy. Whilst in Iceland in the fall, we found a restaurant featuring a disco ball. I remember taking many pictures, we were that impressed!

Actually now you mention it we had a Chinese buffet with a disco ball until their recent remodel catapulted them into the 21st century. Or at least as far as the 90s.
